The bottom level. The basement has a pool table, yoga mats and weights. Lounge area with TV and bluetooth music system. The swimming pool is indoor/outdoor. It will be heated in winter usually from October (depending on the weather). In summer all the doors open to make half of the pool open to the garden. The garden has chairs and tables.

Tourist taxes
Local tourist city taxes are payable at €2.50 per person per night over 12 up to 7 nights.

Parking 
There is free parking on the street outside the property. If you require a garage for any reason or electric car charging please let us know. This is possible but will incur extra charges.

Other details to note
There are a lot of stairs, there is an elevator but it wasn't installed when we bought the house so it doesn't function.

10 max Capacity - 4 double bedrooms
3 double bedrooms with a double bed each = 6 guests
1 double bedroom with a pull out bed which can separate into 2 mattresses = 2 guests

Casa dos Cubos Experiences

We offer luxury experiences at the house. 

1. Afternoon/evening trip for wine tasting and winery tour followed by dinner in the Vinho Verde region and Douro Valley (max 8 people).
2. Dinner at our luxury house (or the apartment) cooked by a local chef
3. Wine tasting at the house with optional Portuguese local tapas (petiscos)
4. Porto and Gaia River trip on a luxury motor cruiser.
5. Boat trip on a small motor boat (max 6 guests)

Casa dos Cubos location

The villa is located in Olivera do Douro with views of the river from the higher levels. It is just 10 minutes from the centre of Porto and 5 mins from the highway to Lisbon. Ubers are €6-7 to the centre of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The villa is set over 3 floors and free parking is available on the street outside.

The pool is heated from October to March. Minimum stay 3 nights unless otherwise agreed. Max number of guests 10.
